March is kidney awareness month, in addition to women's history month. Both are very important to me of course, but without my transplant I would not be here today, and neither would my art!

After celebrating my 15 year transplant anniversary, I feel grateful and renewed. Today, March 10th, is world kidney day. Many people suffer from kidney failure, but it is most difficult to see young children suffer. Children are very resilient, but they need hope.

My upcoming book, Azana's Ribbons, was written for children dealing with kidney failure in hopes that it would bring them joy and inspiration. Look for more details soon.

Thank you for your continued support!

Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking to 300 students from Central Gwinnett High School's Arts Academy. It was amazing at how receptive and inspired the children were during and after my speech. As an artist, it is so important to be able to share my creative journey with children, and inspire them to greatness!

The importance of having a dream, and having the support you need to believe and pursue it, is pivotal to the success of many children. It is important for artists, and other professionals in their fields, to inspire children to hope and dream so that they can see life beyond their own limitations.

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."- Eleanor Roosevelt

The trip to Maryland this year was fun and exciting! I usually fly, but a road trip with great friends was something I didn't even know I needed.:0) I met some great folk in Maryland. Thanks to all who came out to support and purchase my work! I appreciate you! I'll be back on that side again soon. For now, I gotta get back to the business of making art. :0)

I had a blast in Las Vegas last month! Thanks to all of my supporters on the west coast. Vegas is HOT though! Not sure when I will be headed back that way. :0)

Hi All!

I have had a tremendous amount of inquiry about my work, and a bevy of support from all over the world. My work has always been for the people, so for a limited time, I am offering a catalogue that features some selected paintings from my series that I began in 2007. There are two ways that you can own this catalogue. You can purchase directly from the site  or you can purchase it directly from me, in which case, I will sign and date the book for you.

Please remember, I will only be offering the catalogue for a limited time, and the signed versions will be even more limited. The first 200 people who order through me, will have their books signed.

If you are interested, please contact If you would like my signature, please choose the book at the price point that you are comfortable with, email your choice to, and I will send you a Paypal invoice for the list price plus an additional $10 shipping fee. (Nominal Paypal fees will also apply.) If you live abroad shipping costs may cost a bit more. We will determine costs based on where you live.

These images were shot on a cell phone so please forgive the image quality and lighting

Thank you all for all of your support.

Continued Blessings,
Tamara Natalie Madden
